Photo Restoration

What you should supply: - The largest print you have. Larger originals reproduce better than smaller ones.
- The original negative if available.
- If we are to restore parts of an image that are missing or damaged, enclose other images that show us what the missing section looks like if possible.
- List all the work you would like done.
- Tell us what your intended use is and how important it is that every detail be perfect. How the picture will be used will often affect how it should be done.
- State the largest print size you will expect to have made so we can reproduce the best possible print at all sizes.
- If the picture is copyrighted we must have a copyright release from the copyright owner.
Print Options: - For the best results and longest life, Robin Imaging uses only premium photographic papers. We do not use dye sub printers. Photographic prints can be made in B&W or Color, up to 11x17 on matte or glossy paper. Prints larger then this are printed on matte paper only.
- For very special images, Robin offers prints on fine-art watercolor paper. This is an archival fiber-based paper that adds a distinctive look to each image. Prints can be made in B&W, Color or Sepia tone.
- Artist Canvas prints are printed on a textured canvas that gives the photograph a distinctive look.
- Additional prints do not significantly increase the price and make excellent gifts. Consider getting extra prints for friends and family at time or order.
Framing: - Photographic restorations preserve your most cherished memories and will be displayed prominently for long periods. For the best look and longest life it is important that they be mounted and framed properly. Ask our experts how to display your restored photos in the best way possible.
