There are literally hundreds of combinations on how you can have your piece produced. The variables include the print material, type and thickness of acrylic, the backing, and display hardware. Most acrylics are constructed with the acrylic on top, the print, a backer, and then a cleat or standoffs to hang it on the wall. To keep it simple we are offering our most popular choices for online orders. If you want yours customized please contact us and we will make it to your specifications.- Contact us here.

We print using an Epson P20000 printer with the UltraChrome Pro 10 color inkset. The four levels of black allow it to produce exceptional shadow detail and perfectly neutral B&W with a black that is 1.5 times as dense as the previous generation. Color inks have a life of up to 200 years and B&W inks up to 400 years according to Wilhelm Research. We print acrylics on Epson Premium Gloss and HD acrylics on Epson Metallic Gloss.

Prints are mounted to the back of 1/4” or 1/2" acrylic using an optically clear adhesive. All edges are hand-polished. We can also mount to other thicknesses ranging from 1/32” to 1/2" and use non-glare acrylic if desired.

2 mm black PVC is applied to the back of the print to protect it and allow hanging hardware to be applied. Other options for backers include 1/8” – 3/4" PVC if you wish to add more thickness to the piece. On the thicker PVC the edges can be beveled. If additional rigidity is required we can substitute an E-Panel back in place of the 2 mm black PVC.

Hanging Hardware
Our acrylics come ready to hang. Images 20x24 and smaller have a standoff block with aluminum saw tooth hangers for easy hanging. Images from 20x30 through 30x36 come with a frame hanger. Larger sizes come with 1/2" French cleats. We can also drill holes and provide aluminum standoff mounts.

Acrylic Blocks
The image is printed on either Epson Premium Gloss or Epson Metallic. It is then mounted on 1" thick acrylic with hand polished edges that give it a crystal appearance. Black vinyl is applied to the back to protect the print and give it a finished look. The block will free stand on any flat surface.

Other Options
Robin Imaging can provide acrylic in circle, ovals, and just about any shape you can imagine. If you have a special need contact us at 513-381-5116 or
