We even produce custom wall covering. We use state of the art technology such as the Hasselblad H6D for digital capture, a 64" EPSON p20000 printer and a 40X60" Dye Sublimation press. Our team carefully applies its expertise and vast knowledge toward the craftsmanship in their work. Above all, our team is conscientious about what services and products we provide. We see it as an opportunity to serve the distinctive needs of each client and value the opportunity to materialize his or her vision.
Geographically, Robin Imaging resides in the historic Mohawk Neighborhood of Over-the-Rhine (OTR), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. In 2015, the U.S. National Register of Historic Places added the Mohawk Neighborhood to its list of sites deemed worthy of preservation. In addition, this place has experienced neglect and empty buildings for over half a century. To renew this little northwest corner of OTR and make it a great place to live, work, and destination to visit, we partner with neighborhood businesses, residents, the City of Cincinnati, and other stakeholders.
To help spur the redevelopment of our neighborhood, we opened The Mohawk Gallery in October 2016 as a participant of FotoFocus and by the end of 2019 had run nine exhibits. In October 2020 we opened our FotoFocus2020 exhibit Light, Time, and The Ever-changing Perspective virtually in an online publication and physically as wheat pasted prints on our Robin Imaging's back wall along McMicken Street. We gently re-opened the gallery in October 2021 as the pandemic continued on with local photographer Stephen Albert who installed his own show "Over-the-Rhine in the 1970s - A Journey into a Unique Cincinnati Neighborhood." Then, we invited Joe Winhusen to display his photography printed on round and oval-cut gloss metal titled, "The Sleepless, Small Hours." These two artists plus our upcoming exhibit "Glacial Melt: Right Before our Very Eyes" as part of FotoFocus 2022 "World Record" demonstrates that The Mohawk Gallery has excitedly returned to the local art scene.
The Gallery contributes locally-inspired art to the community. Its exhibits focus on the Cincinnati region, highlight artists and photographers who reside therein, yet welcome and present work created beyond our local boundaries. It provides a space to share, learn, and exchange ideas to create community and celebrate art. We welcome you to visit us and enjoy the special space where we work and produce your art!
