The life expectency of all inks and dyes is greatly impacted by display conditions. The amount of UV light and number of hours per day a print is exposed to it matters. Print permanence ratings are based on accelerated testing of prints displayed indoors, under glass or with protective spray. Actual print stability will vary according to the image printed, display conditions, light intensity, humidity, and atmospheric conditions. For maximum print life, display all prints behind UV absorbing glass, with lamination, or with protective spray.
HD Metal prints life expectancy greatly dependent on display conditions and is directly related to the amount of UV light exposure. They are durable enough to be used outside, but sunlight will gradually fade them. How long that takes is directly dependent on the amount of sunlight they receive.
Fine art papers should be framed using acid free materials and displayed behind UV absorbing glass. When
displayed under the proper conditions are expected to last 100-400 years without significant fading. Prints

protective spray coating be applied. This will not change the finish.
